UNICOMPACT
The Honeycomb System UNICOMPACT is suited to store and deliver medium to large storage goods in different formats. It can accept cassettes for bar material as well as double-wide cassettes for sheet packs and bulky goods.
Innovative in-house research guarantees the very high efficiency of this storage system. A patent is pending for an additional unit on the loading traverse on the UNICOMPACT operating gantry crane (Publication no. 1 695 925 A1), which allows an additional 4 times deep movement of Euro pallets. This makes the UNICOMPACT a powerful integrated storage system for all material types that are handled in a company with a high manufacturing depth.
To secure a fast material availability, the UNICOMPACT operating gantry crane fully automatically commissions next day orders overnight. The pre-buffering area is located in levels 1 and 2 of the Honeycomb Storage System. A second smaller operating gantry crane accesses the pre-buffering area and separates bar and sheet handling from pallet handling.
