Replacement of critical components
The life of a technical product is characterized by wear and tear and technical aging. Some components, especially in a storage system, i.e. shelf block, are almost indestructible and have an extremely long life. Therefore, the investment in a completely new storage system is not always a good idea when optimizing the storage logistics.
The replacement of critical components, i.e. drive, rollers and wheels, grippers, sensors etc., within the scope of KASTOretrofit, reduces breakdowns and downtimes. Often, the total output capacity of the storage system improves as well.
Moreover, by using updated KASTO technology the spare parts availability increases so that spare parts are quickly available in case of necessary repairs. Objective:
